Museum of Community Futures

Communities across Greater Manchester are achieving extraordinary change despite the odds stacked against them. The Museum of Community Futures, presented by We’re Right Here and the GM Live Well as part of the Live Well Spring Festival, was exhibited at Factory International during March 2026. It can now be viewed online.

Together with the Museum of Broken Dreams exhibition, which spotlights community-led projects that never succeeded or reached their full potential, the new exhibition offers a compelling contrast: what happens when community-led solutions are backed vs what happens when they are blocked by unnecessary bureaucracy and a lack of trust.
