Who we are
The We’re Right Here campaign is a united movement for community power, spanning places and communities across the UK and the political spectrum.
Community leaders
Our campaign has a unique structure. It is funded and supported by a range of partners (see below) but is led by eight passionate community leaders. They have each achieved brilliant things for their areas – launching local services, saving community spaces at risk of closure, bringing derelict buildings into community use, and supporting local people to learn new skills and even build their own homes. Now, they work together to shape our strategy and lead our work.
With their huge experience and expertise, these eight individuals are the driving force behind our campaign.

Community champions
Community champions represent We’re Right Here across the country. Each champion helps to run an organisation or group dedicated to improving their local area, whether through creating good jobs and training opportunities for local people, revitalising community spaces, or building connections between neighbours. The champions support the We’re Right Here campaign by sharing their stories and advocating for policy action to unlock community power.
